For most people, rent is their largest monthly payment—but until now, it hasn't offered much in return.
Through Casa and Scotiabank’s collaboration, eligible residents can use the ScotiaGold Passport® Visa* Card (2) to make rent or condo fee payments through Casa with no transaction fees (3) charged by Casa and earn Scene+ points on eligible housing payments when program conditions are met.

How It Works
The experience is simple.
Residents can make rent payments through the CASA payment platform, which offers secure and flexible payment options including credit card, debit, or bank account.
Residents using the preferred Scotiabank ScotiaGold® Passport Visa through CASA can pay rent without transaction fees while earning Scene+ points. Casa also supports payments made using other Canadian Visa and Mastercard© credit or debit cards. A standard transaction fee applies to cards used on the Casa platform other than the ScotiaGold Passport® Visa* Card. (4)
Cardholders earn 1 Scene+™ point on every dollar spent on everyday purchases, and those who spend a minimum of $350 per month also earn 1 Scene+ point on every dollar spent on eligible housing payments made through Casa. (5)
